Sauces certified gluten and wheat free |

Great news for Table Bhote Sauces, we have now been certified to be gluten and wheat free, and therefore definitely suitable food for coeliacs. I should add that just because the sauces are good for you doesn't make them any less delicious however!
We have known for as long as we've been making our sauces that they were made from the best ingredients, and that all our ingredients were gluten and wheat free - with the exception of our Cottage Pie, which uses Worcester Sauce. (Worcester Sauce has a secret recipe, and so we could not be sure whether it was gluten and wheat free or not!) We decided quite recently to have the full range of finished sauces tested, and so sent them away to an official testing laboratory. Well the results came back yesterday, and now it's official, All Table Bhote Sauces are now guaranteed gluten and wheat free, and therefore suitable as part of a coeliac disease diet and also for those with gluten or wheat intolerance or allergies.
So what does this mean for us? Well it means we can now promote Table B'hotes sauces officially to those communities, and offer a delicious food to those who have to be careful what they eat. Of course the sauces are already suitable for vegetarians, as long as you don't add any meat to them yourself while you are preparing your meal of course. We will be talking to the societies for coeliacs and trying to help get the message through to their members, and of course using this information to help put Table Bhote sauces into health food shops throughout the country.
So if you fancy a Chilli Sauce (Mild, Medium or Hot!), Sweet 'N Sour, Cottage Pie, or Bolognaise sauce with your dinner tonight, now you know it's both delicious and healthy!
