Could I Resist?

The contents of the jar smelled right and we detected a hint of Indian spices.  We noticed the use by date and were surprised by the long shelf life.  We followed the instructions religiously, resisting the temptation to tinker with the recipe.  Certainly felt that it would need more liquid before it was finished, but it didn't.  Kim was shocked how quickly it was ready - no time for girly chats on the phone tonight!  The meal was served simply over rice.  We were pleasantly surprised that it tasted so good.  Our limited experience of these sauces is that they taste processed, metallic, acidic, sharp, but this meal did not.  Table B'hote sauces will be a welcome addition to our shopping list.
